CANNING! I used to can like crazy when I had a huge garden and a nice large cellar. Sigh. My favorites were the Kerr and Ball booklets from the 40s and 50s. Another good one is HB called Stocking Up. I don't think I have a picture of that.
I only have one Frugal Gourmet cookbook because X took the rest of them when he left! He didn't notice that he left the very best one, and I believe, Jeff Smith's first one too! Lucky me.
of a thread/online journal I started right after I got married. I don't want to lose it, so I'm moving it over here. It contained recipes, decorating tips, info about things I enjoyed collecting; and is just a nice memory for me at this point.I have yet to add pictures or clean up the posts in any way, but there are lots of good recipes.This was during a period of my life in which I went from vegetarian to vegan to raw to vegetarian again, so there are lots of different kinds of ideas. I was very happy then, and had a lot more time on my hands, obviously.

I am just a regular person and I am posting this for my own benefit/entertainment and for anyone else who is interested....
